According to Tom Crawford, Rep. Westmoreland will not run for Governor of Georgia.

I know little about Representative Westmoreland aside from his unwavering support for whatever President Bush wanted, his appalling performance on Comedy Central, and his stated support for public display of religious documents. These have been enough for me to have little interest in seeing him continue in public office.
I recently began reading the blog, Cracker Squire. He recently posted about Rep. Westmoreland reporting that he would not seek the governorship. I rather liked his post:
"Heck. I was hoping to kill 2 birds with one stone. Get him out of Congress & have him lose governor's race: Westmoreland won’t run for governor"
I have greatly enjoyed this fellow's posts, but this one in particular continues to please whenever I think of it.
